Dr. Pauline Bland
OD
Dr. Pauline Bland joined Virdi Eye Clinic in 2015 after she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she graduated at the top of her class. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Bland attended the University of Iowa for her degree in biomedical engineering. She is also a Clinton High School alumna and is very happy to be serving her hometown of Clinton, IA.
In the office, Dr. Bland has many areas of focus including primary care of patients aged newborn to 100+, low vision evaluations, contact lenses, dry eye disease, cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma care.
Dr. Bland is the proud mom of 4 young boys. They keep her and her husband Kris very busy running to many sporting events including soccer, basketball, wrestling, and baseball. They also enjoy spending time with their large extended families for vacations, game nights, and outdoor adventures.
