The Process

What to
Expect

01

Consultation & Evaluation

A thorough eye examination measures your cornea, pupil size, anterior chamber depth, and prescription. We determine if ICL is the right fit for your eyes and lifestyle.

02

Preparation

A laser iridotomy (tiny opening in the iris) is performed 1–2 weeks before surgery to ensure proper fluid flow. This is a quick, painless in-office procedure.

03

The Procedure

ICL surgery takes about 20–30 minutes per eye. Numbing eye drops are applied, a micro-incision is made, and the folded lens is gently placed between your iris and natural lens. No stitches required.

04

Recovery

Most patients experience significantly improved vision within 24–48 hours. You'll have follow-up appointments at 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month post-procedure.
