What to Bring to Your Appointment
To help us provide the best possible care, please bring the following to every visit:
- ✓A valid photo ID
- ✓Your current insurance card(s)
- ✓A list of all current medications, including dosages
- ✓Your most recent eyeglasses and/or contact lenses
- ✓Contact lens prescription or packaging (if applicable)
- ✓Any relevant prior eye care records or surgical history
What to Expect at Your Visit
When you arrive, our front desk staff will check you in and verify your insurance and personal information. Depending on the type of appointment, a trained technician will typically perform preliminary testing before you are seen by one of our doctors. This may include measuring your visual acuity, checking eye pressure, or performing imaging of the eye.
A Note About Dilation
Many comprehensive eye exams include pupil dilation, which allows our doctors to thoroughly evaluate the health of your retina and optic nerve. Dilating drops take approximately 20–30 minutes to take full effect.
Your vision may remain blurry and sensitive to light for several hours afterward. We strongly recommend arranging for someone to drive you home if you know your eyes will be dilated, or bringing sunglasses for comfort following your exam.
Insurance & Billing
We accept a wide range of vision and medical insurance plans. Because eye care services may be covered under either a vision plan or a medical plan depending on the nature of your visit, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm whether Virdi Eye Clinic is in-network and to understand your specific benefits prior to your appointment.
Financing Options
For patients pursuing elective procedures such as LASIK, flexible financing options are available.
