Dr. Alyssa Anderson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Pre-medicine, and Art at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. She was awarded Clinical Excellence in Pediatrics during her clinical externships. She is currently a member of the Illinois Optometric Association.

Dr. Anderson returned to the Quad Cities and joined Virdi Eye Clinic in 2018. Her clinical interests include primary care optometry, management of ocular disease, dry eye treatment, contact lenses, low vision, and pediatrics. She also enjoys being involved with clinical studies to advance eye care.

In her spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys traveling, skiing, singing, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. She is a member of the Henry County Farm Bureau.
